As a child in the late 1960s, my family traveled the world so my dad, Christian author Dave Hunt, could gain inspiration for his books. I am so thankful all for those experiences, like I'm ing the pyramids in days before there was really any security, (we literally escaped out of Egypt right before the 6 Day War), standing in front of the David, 😲, staring up at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, the Pieta, walking through the Hagia Sophia. Also the horrors of Dachau and crossing from West to East and back again at Checkpoint Charlie.
To see the hatred now of our histories, the efforts to erase our foundation, our past, the sad fact the young people have no concept of their roots, is tragic. Writing down stories, sharing these great works of art and architecture are so important. Thank you.
