Excellent statement, clear and clarifying. The historical place we are in is defined exactly. The significance of what President Trump has done is explained well.

I love the insights from someone who grew up in the culture of Islamism and who has deeply educated herself over the last two decades. Profound analysis for which I am grateful. Our university students badly need to understand this civilizational challenge.

A very well written article by someone with real knowledge of Islam. Please write an opinion piece and send it to the NYT’s. They print false narratives written by white privileged useful idiots who have never known suffering other than ordering a Matcha Latte only to find the cafe ran out of Agave ( sweetener).

When the ideological scales fall from our eyes, the truth is blindingly obvious and impossible to ignore.

The whole ‘Just be kind’ movement, which gaslight a whole generation, has led to women’s safe spaces being violated and the U.K. government alongside other European states intent on silencing their ingenious citizens, along with any moderate Muslims, by enshrining in law any criticism of Islam.

It reminds me of those optical

Illusions where one sees only one interpretation of a simple pencil drawing. On closer inspection, the opposite view is immediately apparent.

It’s hard to see where we missed the fork in the road that led to this absurd and tragic situation but if we don’t wake up soon, it will be too late for the West and a catastrophic collapse of the freedoms we all take for granted.

Thank you Ayaan for keeping the flame of truth alive.

Yes, I agree, but we're certainly not 'out of the woods' yet, much as America would like to believe as a result of what Israel (with key help from the US) has achieved. The job is manifestly NOT finished. Iran still has the 60% enriched uranium somewhere - and has every intention of using it. Even if they may not now be able to further enrich it enough to make a nuclear bomb, they can easily make a 'dirty bomb' now that would make vast areas uninhabitable.

Great summary of the situation. As stated by Tony Pennell, I’m still waiting for another shoe to fall….but I hope that the international community has the guts to support this….and then, there are the lovely people here in the US, who want to impeach him for this….go figure.

👏👏👏👏Incredibly well articulated by one of my favorite writers on all things concerning Islam and morality. The clarity of your vision is always appreciated. st the greatest danger that the Western democracies now must confront is internal. It stems both from the false academic propaganda instilled in the students ( primarily at “elite”

Universities ) that there are no absolutes and that anything can be deconstructed and thus there are no societal absolutes and anything is whatever anyone chooses to call it. I agree with Ayann, the Iranian regime is evil and must be confronted , not appeased. And so are Putin and Xi and “Rocket Man” ‘ they all willingly sacrifice the lives of their citizens to further their delusions of their superiority and supremacy. Their belief systems are flawed and they are still in the Dark Ages.
