Brilliant essay. As noted under Error #4, Right-Side-of-History claims often function as a secular religion substitute - as indicated by its exponents’ behavior. Hence cancel culture, aka the secular Inquisition, gleefully imposed by Woke Torquemadas.

They believe in providence, but not in God. Belief in providence without God is like loving high cuisine while thinking chefs are a superstition.

Seriously! If you don't think that history has an architect, why think history will work out? What arrogance.

Yes, common sense, lucid argumentation, and the courage to take back morality from the leftists. The (real) right side of history. Restoration.

I do believe that such a thing as transgenderism exists and there is historical evidence of this in many cultures the world over. But what is happening now is much more like a transgenderism tsunami, and I can't help but this this is directed with massive funding and support from where I have no idea. Would you be able to address that? Where does in come from? What is really the end goal of its supporters and why? The destruction and breakdown of families, communities, Western civilization? To build what? I think we need to build up the intellectual and political defenses to confront those that argue for the mutilation of our children. The Cass Report was a godsend and couldn't have come any sooner, though it appears that here in the States they seem to be ignoring it. Thank you for this essay, Ayaan.

Right side of history is part of our ruling class's "political formula" that it fights for the oppressed against the oppressors. Only, experts agree that the only oppressors in town are the educated class.

Couple of sidebars. A friend once said to me: "All children want a mother and a father. Their mother and their father."

Douglas Adams put Deep Thought to work on the meaning of "life, the universe, everything." The answer was 42. But Deep Thought was wrong. The meaning of "life, the universe, everything" is grandchildren.

You can see that right-side-of-history and victim-of-the-month have nothing to do with "life, the universe, everything."
