As always, thank you for your moral clarity, from the bottom of my heart.

Great analysis—thank you! I’m still flabbergasted at the antisemitism of Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.

Thank you for an inspiring essay laying out what is really at stake in the war against Islamic terrorism.

In those terrible days after Oct 7, it was especially nauseating to hear political leaders, like both Senators from Massachusetts, calling for "de-escalation" instead of justice.

This essay is an eloquent response.

One thing I don’t understand: How can political leaders recognize a State that doesn’t exist?

That's easy. Politicians are very good at pretending.. This is why the UN is worthless.

The 1934 Montevideo Convention requires a recognized state to have a defined territory controlled by its government. Nothing like "Palestine".

Thank you for clearly articulating the struggle between Israel and Hamas and the rest of the world. Antisemitism is a dark and destructive evil that has manifested itself throughout Israel’s history. The only reason the West stands up for Hamas is because they live in free countries and have freedom of speech. If they lived in Palestine or Afghanistan or Iran it would be a different story.

Aayan writes from a morally pure perspective. She has lived life under Islamic repression and she has a deep understanding of the evils in the world. As a philosemitic Christian, I stand with her in support of Israel at this time. I wrote my dear friends in Israel this morning to affirm my support for their families and them. I pray for peace but have a certain skepticism about the willingness and ability of the Palestinian people to embrace the kind of fundamental change in their worldview that is necessary for regional peace. May God Himself intervene in this regard!

The only way to peace in this instance is Palestinian passivism. Of course this is antithetical to jihad. At some point we either need to submit, or confront jihad. Along with our politicians we all seem to pretend that the jihadi's are just kidding. They aren't kidding, they are playing the oldest game in the book. A small minority of ruthless people have ruled mankind for most of its existence. Mao was no dummy. Power comes from the business end of a firearm. We fail to understand our own history.

I agree, Orenv. Islam is at war with the West and everything we call civilization. “Co-Exist” is not in their vocabulary.

And in my point of view there are two things you must constantly have in mind: It was Hamas that started this war. And years ago, when a two-State solution was within reach, it was the Palestinian leaders who said NO. So they have had the chance to get their own State.

Ayaan, thank you so much for your moral clarity and rational words, in a time when the common folk are brainwashed by evil Islamist propaganda, and weak cowardly Western politicians and bureaucrats in the UN. Your voice is needed.

I hope and pray with you Ayaan, that what you have wrked so long - may be truly joined to the hearts and souls of all who see truth, know truth and desire truth this OCTOBER 7. I grew up in Zanzibar- a peaceful Archipelago under an OMANI Sultan, willing and able to get all our Tiny Minorities- Catholic, Hindu, Zoroastrian, Anglicans, Seychellois to work with Afro Shriazi Arabs.

Bloody Revolution ripped it all apart and ended that dream - "COLD" WAR 80 years ago now HOT

I am very pessimistic about the viability of the educated class. When 34 student groups in Harvard issued "The colonizers deserved it" open letter on Oct 8, there wasn't an adult in that ivory tower to say that it was cruel and disgusting. Caltech president, on Oct 8, issued a mealy-mouthed declaration to the effect that the karma of Peace was disturbed - not in so many words but close. The Texas yokels however collected some money and flew over to care for the cattle of the slaughtered farmers. Our education system ingests little humans and spits out human-shaped garbage. No federal funding for student loans is the idea whose time has come.

Colleges and universities need to be held accountable for a LOT of stuff - beginning with cranking out idiotic degrees and leading people into debt in order to acquire them. We need more technical and trade schools and we need them yesterday.

The US started deviating from Truth when it became "normal" and acceptable to kill our most innocent and defenseless members in the womb. From there, the twisting lies that warped and distorted relationships seared consciences and made this vehement antisemitism inevitable.
