Great read. I was so despondent a few years ago seeing my then 12 year old getting sucked into the woke mind virus when she was forced to zoom her way through 3 years of middle school. But suddenly the conversations we had...a few key educators and a new boyfriend she is now firmly a conservative. I am seeing this trend, as you stated above, in the young. I'm seeing a resurgence of Christianity among them...political and civic engagement... And rage. They are angry and rightfully so. This nation has been criminally negligent in husbanding our collectibe resources and many 20 to 30yr olds have little chance at starting households in the towns they grew up in. Nothing is more depressing than being stuck and watching thousands of third world new arrivals be handed everything on a silver platter....under the protection of the state no less.
The fissure and the spoils now lie between the young..and the wealthy. Like you said. There is hope.
As Ayaan so eloquently said, there is much work ahead. But today, I am simply going to bask in hope, to luxuriate in an optimism I haven’t felt for decades. It’s delightful.
